Not sure which size is right for your space? Use this as a guide. A 5x7 works great on a shelf or desk, while an 18x24 or 24x32 makes a real statement on the wall.

This Sableye is my illustrated take on the Sableye holo from Lost Origin (070/196), one of the more underrated cards from a set everyone remembers for Giratina. The original card by Yuu Nishida shows Sableye crouched in a treasure chamber surrounded by piles of gems, looking absolutely thrilled about it, which is honestly the most Sableye thing imaginable. He's a Dark/Ghost-type whose entire deal is eating gemstones, so this card art is basically him at his happiest.
Like every print at Palette Town, this Sableye started as a TCG card I love and got rebuilt from scratch in Adobe Illustrator. There's no painting and no photography in here. Every diamond, every shadow, every glint in his eyes is a vector shape I drew by hand and stacked in layers. Even what looks like linework is shapes. It's slower than digital painting, but it means the file scales cleanly to any size. The print on your wall looks exactly as crisp at 24"x32" as it does at 8"x10", and the deep purples and gem highlights stay punchy whether you go matte or semi-gloss.
If Sableye is your guy, you already know there isn't a ton of merch out there for him. He's a fan-favorite gremlin who rarely gets the spotlight. This print is for the people who've always thought he deserved more wall space.

Sableye, gleefully surrounded by his diamond hoard, based on the Sableye holo from the Lost Origin Pokémon TCG set. Hand-drawn shape-by-shape in Adobe Illustrator.
