This Jolteon is my illustrated take on the Jolteon V (SWSH183) from the Sword & Shield Promo set. The original card shows Jolteon mid-attack against a backdrop of bright neon city lights, electric energy crackling off his fur, the whole scene lit up in pinks and yellows like a Tokyo skyline. It's one of the most striking Eeveelution cards the modern TCG has produced, and far and away the most "edgy cyberpunk" of the bunch.
If Vaporeon belongs in the ocean and Leafeon belongs in a meadow, Jolteon belongs in a city after midnight. This card art is a love letter to that exact vibe: Electric-type Pokémon meets Blade Runner.
