This Dragonite is my illustrated take on the Dragonite V Alternate Full Art (SWSH192/203) from Evolving Skies. The original card by 5ban Graphics shows Dragonite cruising through a cloudy sky, surrounded by a flock of Pidgeys keeping pace, sunbeams breaking through. It's the calmest, most heartwarming Dragonite art the TCG has ever printed. He's not fighting anyone. He's just enjoying the flight.
Dragonite has always been one of the gentlest "huge dragon" Pokémon — friendly, helpful, often shown rescuing trainers in the anime. This card art captures that side of him perfectly.
